Summer's round the corner - where we dream of making neon overlooking Isle of Wight beaches...
We're bringing our Mobile Neon Workshops to the creative spaces of Department, offering a special August of sun, sand and neon. For those with stamina, we'll be squeezing in some morning 'Neon Yoga' on the beach, plus an evening explore for some bistro food around the
award-winning local restaurants in Ryde.
On this One Day Intensive, six participants will be taught by two neon makers and learn everything from transcribing ideas into neon drawings to filling their glass forms with gas.
No experience is necessary.

In Isle of Wight but don’t have a whole day to spare?
Our second offering is a two hour Neon Session, on Saturday evening. Learn what neon is, what it can do and how to make it.
See glowing examples of neon art explained, expect mesmerising demonstrations of cutting, blowing, stretching, bending and fusing glass with flame, filling with gas and illuminating with electricity. Experience the chance to have a go yourself under tuition and take home the results! No experience is necessary.
*This price excudes turning your glass attempt into a neon.

Mobile Neon Workshops
We take our customised mobile neon facility all over, spreading the good word of neon light, and coinciding our intensive neon courses with related events, to make these experiences truly unforgettable.
